Cooper Hoffman was born to actor Philip Seymour Hoffman and costume designer Mimi O'Donnell in March of 2003. Cooper Hoffman lived with his parents in New York City until his father's death in February of 2014. He made his acting debut in Paul Thomas Anderson's 1970s-set coming-of-age film Licorice Pizza.
